We feel so blessed to be able to serve together as a family here in Thailand. Here is a little more personal look into our family.

Ryan

I am from the great state of Georgia (Go Bull Dawgs!!!) from a small town northeast of Atlanta called Loganville. I am the youngest of three boys and grew up playing sports, including baseball and football. Unfortunately for me, neither one of these sports are played in Thailand, and I haven’t quite adapted to playing soccer. My wife and I met and dated in college and soon after I graduated we were married. Two years after we were married we started deputation and enjoyed seeing many new places such as Colorado and Washington D.C. At three years of marriage, the Lord blessed us with our first child and soon after we left for the field. I am so thankful to have very supportive parents who even come to see us on the field twice a year (it doesn’t hurt anything that we have two grandkids for them to come visit now)!

Heather

Though I claim Nashville, TN as my home, I was born in Orange county, CA and lived there until I was nine. It was then my family moved to TN and I picked up words like “ya’ll”  and phrases like “goin’ to.” I  am the oldest of three girls and have always had a desire to teach as my sisters and childhood friends can attest to from all the hours they spent “playing school” with me. It was no surprise to anyone that I went on to get my teaching degree.  After two years of teaching Kindergarten in the states, teaching English to Thai students, and now homeschooling my daughter, my teacher training has certainly been useful. I am the proud mom of two rambunctious yet wonderful kids, and I have also been married to my best friend, Ryan, for the last seven years!

Addisyn Claire

We came to Thailand when our first child, Addisyn, was ten weeks old. We had many strange looks as we boarded the plane with our tiny baby. Time has flown by and our baby is turning four next week. Addisyn is now attending Thai preschool three days a week and is also home-schooled by Heather in the afternoons for the English aspect of K4. Addisyn loves to play dress-up and she is convinced that when she grows up she will be a princess. She takes her role as the oldest very seriously and loves to be mama’s helper.

Branson Lee

He came along two years and two days after his older sister. We needlessly worried that he might end up being run-over by his sister, but Branson can definitely take care of himself. He is tough, fearless, and extremely clumsy. He constantly sports bruises all over his legs and forehead, but it still doesn’t slow him down. He loves to eat and is not picky on what we feed him so long as he never has to wait on the food! He enjoys having his mom all to himself when his sister is at school, but he is always excited to see Addisyn when she gets home. His favorite things to play with are his Thomas the train and his bouncy balls.
